The coordinated work of the Colombian Navy and the municipal administration led to the benefit of about 400 indigenous people in the department of Sucre.
A development support activity led by Navy Battalion No.14 in coordination with the Municipal Mayor of Sampués and the Departmental Institute of Sports and Recreation of Sucre, benefited about 400 indigenous people in the department of Sucre.
The activity provided care services such as pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry and vaccination. In the same way, 2,700 units of liquid Bienestarina (food supplement) were distributed to support the nutrition of children under 10 years of age; also were distributed clothing and footwear, and recreational activities were carried out for the children and adolescents.
