The cargo was found in a parking lot and allegedly belonged to transnational criminal groups.
415 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride were found by troops in a parking lot in Riohacha, capital city of La Guajira, through a military operation carried out by troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Magdalena, jointly with the Colombian Air Force and interinstitutional with the specialized Directorate against drug trafficking of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps). Intelligence reports pointed out that the shipment belonged to transnational criminal groups operating in the Department.
Intelligence confirmed that the material was intended to be distributed in the city and much of the Caribbean region.
The material was put into custody of the CTI of the prosecutor's office to carry out the relevant research.
