Through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, two isolation capsules were delivered to the Colombian Air Force for the transport of patients with COVID-19, guaranteeing the safe transfer and preventing contagion to health personnel and aircraft crews.
These equipment were designed with the specifications required in our country, through feedback that was obtained from performance of different prototypes and emergency medical personnel, achieving as a result the camera that is currently delivered to Institutions such as the Colombian Air Force (FAC), the Corps of Sabaneta Firefighters and SENA.
The Medellín Headquarters of the National University of Colombia (UNAL), Compoestructuras and Precimec, have distributed 40 isolation capsules and are part of the commitment acquired in the Mincienciatón of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, which financed the proposal.
