More than 300 inhabitants of the municipality of San Francisco, municipality of San Pedro, Department of Sucre, benefited in a medical activity led by the Navy of Colombia.
The Colombian Navy through the Navy Infantry Brigade No.1 and in coordination with the Fundación Mía Salud, carried out a medical activity in the municipality of San Pedro, Department of Sucre, benefiting more than 300 vulnerable people in this community.
The crew of the Naval Institution, an interdisciplinary team of medical specialists and volunteers, came to the municipality of San Francisco in the department of Sucre, with a blue heart, to provide free general medicine, dentistry, Gynecology and Pediatrics services.
During the activity, the distribution of 3,600 units of liquid Bienestarina (food supplement) as a nutritional supplement for children under 10 years and 12 thousand liters of drinking water was made, to ensure the supply for the inhabitants that have been hit by the hot climate of the Caribbean region during this season of the year.
In the same way, recreational activities were carried out, talks to prevent the forced recruitment of minors and the campaign Yo no Pago, Yo Denuncio was promoted, in the same way the channels of assistance were shown to the community to report any crime related to extortion or kidnapping.
