Soldiers of the fifteenth Brigade of the National Army, with the support of the Colombian Air Force, save the lives of two members of an Indigenous community, in a rural area of the municipality of Bojayá, Department of Chocó.
The humanitarian operation was carried out in the municipality of Pogue, of the municipality of Bojayá, where nurses of the Army provided first aid to two members of the indigenous community Chanú, reservation Rio Alto Bojayá, which had been injured by the activation of an anti-personnel mine, planted by terrorists of the Company Nestor Tulio Duran of the Organised Armed Group, GAO, Eln, in the sector of the Bocas de La Quebrada Mutatá, on the river Bojayá, in this municipality.
After the terrorist operation, in which a member of this community loses his life, the wounded are taken by river to this municipality, where thanks to the knowledge and expertise of the soldiers, they were stabilized and their lives are saved.
Subsequently, in the Angel helicopter of the Colombian Air Force, they are evacuated to the city of Quibdó, where they recover successfully.
