Colombian Navy units carrying out river operations, on the Putumayo River, in the municipality of Puerto Leguízamo, found 715 gallons of gasoline when they were illegally transported on a boat.
The operation took place in the Bocas del Caucayá sector where troops attached to the Navy Infantry River Battalion No.30 with information provided by naval intelligence, carried out the search and control of a rudimentary ship in which 13 barrels with a capacity of 55 gallons containing gasoline were found by troops.
The boat named El Loco, was manned by three people of Colombian nationality, who at the time of the search did not present the documents required for Transport, for this reason they were arrested for the crime of trafficking substances for the production of narcotics. The fuel and the boat were put into custody of the authorities.
