During the raids, illicit substances, a firearm, cash and communication equipment were found by troops in the possession of those arrested.
In a coordinated operation between the Navy of Colombia, the National Police and the Technical Investigation Corps - CTI - of the Attorney General's Office, it was possible to arrest nine people, who presumably would be members of the Common Crime Group Los de Arriba, who perpetrate the trafficking of narcotic drugs in Carmen de Bolívar, Bolívar.
In the operation carried out by the authorities, simultaneously in compliance with a search warrant of buildings in Los Laureles and La Ceiba neighborhoods, five people were arrested, who report arrest warrants in force for the crime of trafficking , manufacture or possession of drugs and others.
During the inspection of the buildings it was possible to find cash, a hand-made firearm, cellular equipment, 104 doses of coca base, 608 grams of cannabis sativa, which would apparently be distributed and marketed in the surroundings of the area.
Those arrested and the materials found were put into custody of the authorities for prosecution.
