In the course of simultaneous operations in the Department of Bolivar, 18 persons were arrested for the offences of trafficking, manufacture or carrying of narcotics, Association to commit aggravated crimes and illicit administration of real estate property.
During joint and coordinated operations conducted by the Colombian Navy, the National Army and the National Police, in the Department of Bolivar, it was possible to arrest 18 people, who allegedly are part of an organized crime group, GDO, that perpetrates drug trafficking.
In consecutive operations conducted by troops of the Bolívar military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), the Navy Infantry Battalion No.12, National Army and units of the SIJIN (JUDICIAL police) of the National Police, in search procedures in real estate, in the urban area of Cartagena, it was possible to arrest 13 persons with a court order for the crimes of trafficking, manufacture or carrying of narcotic drugs, Association to commit aggravated crimes and illicit destination of real estate property. One other person was arrested in flagrante for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotic drugs.
Simultaneously, in search-and-raid in the municipality of Santa Rosa de Lima, Bolívar, it was possible to arrest four persons in compliance with a court order, for the offences of trafficking, manufacture or carriage of narcotic drugs, association to commit crimes, and destination of illicit goods and properties.
During the inspection of the buildings it was possible to find 200 grams of cocaine and marijuana, 100 grams of Bazuco (crack), four precision scales, three mobile phone equipment and two motorcycles. Those arrested and the material, were put into custody of the authorities for their prosecution.
