In the municipalities Paz de Ariporo and Hato Corozal, in the department of Casanare, there is the Indigenous reserve Caño Mochuelo, which received the visit of the UH-60 Black Hawk of the Colombian Air Force, who transported 21 medical volunteers of the Foundation Meta Visible, for assistance to the inhabitants of the indigenous community of San José.
In joint work of the Casanare Air Group, GACAS, the Colombian Air Force with the National Army and interinstitutional with the Government of Casanare, the Mayor of the municipality of Paz de Ariporo, the Victims Unit, the Secretary of women, the Meta Visible Foundation and leaders of the indigenous reservation, it was possible to reach the indigenous reservation of Caño Mochuelo to carried out an activity of support for the development with the inhabitants. On this occasion the commitment was established by the authorities and leaders of the Cabildos to work for the well-being and safety of these people.
The activity had medical assistance for the inhabitants in different specialties such as General Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Planning, dentistry, optometry, among other specialties, in addition, the distribution of humanitarian aid and an afternoon of games, laughter and hope for the children of the reservation, who had activities such as cinema in open spaces, among others.
The inhabitants of Caño Mochuelo showed their gratitude to each of the institutions and to the Colombian Air Force, which makes it possible to reach places so remote of the National Geography, transporting joy and hope for these communities, working for their safety, development and well-being.
