The soldiers arrived at different points of the capital city in order to neutralize the operations of the groups that perpetrate microtrafficking in the city.
Troops of the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Cundinamarca of the thirteen Brigade and the national elite military Gaula No.2, in the framework of Operation Horus, hit some sales points of hallucinogenic substances that attack against the tranquility of the citizens in Bogotá.
Through several raids in the localities Kennedy and Chapinero, different criminal groups were impacted. This was possible thanks to the permanent prevention campaigns that the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) has been implementing in recent months and that led to obtaining valuable information, which was provided to the Attorney General's Office, for a coordinated and interagency work, to make two arrests and find more than seven kilos of marijuana, among other elements.
Those arrested and the materials are in the process of prosecution for the crime of trafficking, carrying and manufacture of narcotic drugs.
The National Army, through the thirteen Brigade, will continue to make efforts hand in hand with all the authorities to ensure the safety, especially of our children and adolescents in the center of the country.
