In commemoration of the National Day of memory and solidarity with the victims, the military forces through the Colombian Air Force, remember the men and women who have lost their lives in the service of the nation as a result of the armed conflict; as established in law 1448 of June 10, 2011.
In this way, we seek a public space for the victims to be listened, so that they retell their stories, to understand the dimension of the human tragedy that this conflict has had for millions of compatriots and generate an individual and collective commitment for the no repetition of these misfortunes.
More than eight million victims of the conflict have been recognized as a result of killings, forced displacement and the execution of military operations in the fulfillment of the institutional mission; the Eastern Air Group is recalls those families who have suffered this problem.
With this, not only the historical memory of the country is kept alive, but we in the same way provide a gesture of solidarity to all the victims, in order to generate new spaces for reconciliation in Colombia.
