In compliance with the Bicentenary Campaign Plan Heroes de la Libertad, the Joint Task Force for stabilization and consolidation Hercules, in coordination with the National Police, presents the report of operational results that since January this year to date have been carried out within the framework of the military and police campaign Tumaco Seguro.
During this campaign, it has had the support of military and police intelligence, with efforts coordinated inter-agency with the Attorney General's office and the mayor of the District of Tumaco, generating significant damage to the different structures, which commit crimes in the Pacific region of the department of Nariño.
Currently, as a result of this campaign, the following successful operations have been achieved: The surrender to the justice of six individuals, the recovery of eight minors who recovered their rights, 308 arrests, the death in military operations of an individual members of these organizations, the finding of 400 kilograms of explosives, 271 rifles, 135 units of communications equipment, the neutralization of two explosive devices, the destruction of seven secret places, the finding of seven illegal valves and an illegal refinery, the finding of 1,602 kilograms of coca base paste as well as 13,206 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, the finding and destruction of 16 illegal laboratories for the production of coca base paste, the finding of liquid and solid precursors, 13 recovered cars and the finding of a semi-submarine with a capacity of two tons of storage.
These results damage the armed and illegal finances component of these criminal organizations, responsible for murders, criminal acts and clashes with other structures who perpetrate drug trafficking
