In the municipality of San José del Palmar, Department of Chocó, 22 infrastructures that were being used for the production of coca base paste were prosecuted and destroyed.
The operation was carried out jointly, coordinated and interagency, conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the Colombian Navy, the police and the Attorney General's Office, who, through intelligence information, find these illegal laboratories.
In addition, it was possible to find more than 460 kilos of coca base, 4,442 gallons of gasoline, 130 kilos of lime, 175 kilos of caustic soda, 766 kilos of coca leaf, among other precursors used for the production of the drug.
