Troops of the National Army, in a joint and coordinated operation with the Colombian Navy and the police, reached the sector known as Puerto Valencia, in the municipality El Retorno, in Guaviare, where, according to military intelligence information, members of the residual organized armed group, Gao-r, first structure, of the gang of alias Stiven were found by troops.
There, five alleged members of this residual GAO were arrested, who were carrying out criminal operations against the inhabitants of the region and other illicit activities in the service of drug trafficking.
One of them is alias Jhonn, who was reportedly in charge of providing valuable criminal intelligence to the structure, pressuring communities to disrupt law and order, as well as conducting criminal logistical and financial coordination throughout the Rio Inírida.
In the same way, this individual would be responsible for transporting all kinds of military elements required by the armed groups with interference in the villages of La Paz, Tomachipan, Golondrinas, La Lindosa, Cumare and Salto Gloria, of the Departments of Guaviare and Vichada.

These men were put into custody of the authorities and prosecuted for the crimes of illegal trafficking of arms and ammunition for the exclusive use of the Military Forces.
