During last nights, vandals have been infiltrating the marches attacking public and private establishments.
Despite the demonstrations, the curfew as a biosecurity measure is still in force in the Department of Atlántico, and it will even be maintained in Barranquilla until May 9, so the demonstrations should not be held after 6 p.m. That is why the Colombian Air Force, in support of the National Police, will be making overflights during the night, with the aim of reporting possible agglomerations after the allowed time.
For this, different aircraft are available and will fly over day and night, the points indicated by the Unified Command Post, where the civil authorities and the security forces are located 24 hours a day, ready to react to any vandalism that threatens the tranquility of the citizens.
These missions will continue to be carried out with the purpose of guaranteeing the safety of the Barranquilleros, as well as in compliance with the provisions of the local authorities in terms of restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which, although it has decreased in the department, it remains as a concern for the public health sector.
