The arrested individual would be carrying out criminal intelligence actions in the municipality of Llorente, in the municipality of Tumaco. In addition, he would be in charge of collecting extortions on the roads of the Pacific region in the department of Nariño.
In military operations as part of the Bicentenary Plan of Campaign Heroes de Libertad, the National Army, in an inter-agency work with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), arrested alias Andres, a suspected member of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure Óliver Sinisterra, accused of the crimes of homicide, illegal possession of firearms, conspiracy to commit crime and extortion.
Alias Andrés, who was arrested in flagrante delicto at the Pasto transport terminal in Nariño, apparently served as the second ringleader of alias Timonazoof of this GAO-r. The arrested individual would have been part of this armed group for approximately five years and his zone of interference was the Pacific region in Nariño.
This man was put into custody of the authorities to advance on his respective prosecution process.
