Air-to-air and air-to-ground training conducted by F-16 aircraft of the United States Air Force (USAF) and KFIR of the Colombian Air Force (FAC), are carried out in the departments of Antioquia and Caldas, in the region known as the Magdalena Medio.
Since yesterday, and for six more days, with the aim of strengthening interoperability and operations under NATO international standards, the aircraft will fly over Colombia, in combined maneuvers.
This international exercise continues to position the Colombian Air Force as a regional reference, with resources, aircraft and crews trained in technical and tactical procedures in combat.
This is how the Relámpago exercise is carried out for the sixth time, with confidence on Colombia as host country and as strategic ally, within the established cooperation agreements.
