In order to generate development and well-being for the most vulnerable communities, the Colombian Air Force through Air Combat Command No.4 arrived in the municipality of Tocaima, Cundinamarca, to install four playgrounds in the schools of Pubenza, Armenia, Santa Rosa and Santo Domingo, which are far of the urban center and did not have a recreation space for their students due to infrastructure limitations.
The opening event was attended by the mayor of Tocaima, Julián Mora Pineda, the Commander of CACOM 4, Colonel Néstor Vicente Cortés, rectors, teachers, parents, military personnel of the Unit and students of schools, who showed their enormous gratitude to the Colombian Air Force for this contribution to the comprehensive instruction of students.
With happiness and emotion around 340 children, used for the first time their new places, after spending more than a year in virtual classes; now they have one more reason to want to attend classes, since they are returning to the buildings.
With plans like this, the Colombian Air Force demonstrates the great social commitment it has to the community, contributing to the development and well-being of children in the country, through the only tool that can transform society: education.
