We have 35,000 units of the Military Forces and 25,000 of the National Police for this Sunday's Democracy Plan.
The responsibility for guarding polling stations was distributed as follows: 678 for the Military forces, 5,006 for the National Police and 374 with joint monitoring for 6,058 polling stations nationwide, housing 19,991 polling tables nationwide.
The Military Forces deployed 9,998 men of the Colombian Navy and the National Army to the polling stations, which at the national level are equivalent to 1,292 in rural areas and 4,766 in urban areas, distributed in 5 cities and 1,097 municipalities.
The Air Force has 8,609 members available to support any request, while the National Police arranged 700 DIJIN officials to support the Attorney General's Office and the Office of the Inspector General of the Nation against any irregular conduct may arise, while providing support of the PMU Ciber to the National Civil Status Report.
Operations on organized armed groups and organized crime groups are ongoing throughout the territory.
We have coordination mechanisms with all the institutions involved in the electoral contest, through the integrated center for Electoral Information and Intelligence CI3E, and in the PMU we have the work of United Nations officials.
