Three hours of flight were necessary to reach this sector, in the Upper Guajira region. It is a space that led the community to enjoy an afternoon of healthy recreation.
In order to strengthen the bonds of partnership with the communities of the north of the country, troops of the National Army, in coordination with the Finsocial Foundation, carried out in Punta Gallinas, in the department of La Guajira, the northernmost region of Colombia, the distribution of about 500 presents to the children of the Wayúu indigenous community that resides in this sector.
The activity, which was accompanied by the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the First Division, led the attendees to access general medicine, gynecology and psychology services.
In the same way, in the event, a recreation activity was carried out with balloon twisting, trampolines and puppet shows that led the youngest to enjoy a healthy recreation space.
It is planned that these activities will continue in other departments of the Caribbean region of Colombia, with the purpose of providing communities with well-being and security.
