The work to mitigate the forest fire in the Tuparro National Natural Park does not stop, the Colombian Air Force arranged the C-130 Hercules aircraft to transport more than 10 tons of specialized equipment, as well as members of the National Army and the National Fire Department, from the Military Transport Air Command in Bogotá, to the Eastern Air Group-GAORI, in Marandúa, Vichada.
Once in GAORI, 55 men and women were transported in an Air Force helicopter to the site of the emergency, with the aim of supporting the units that valiantly seek to extinguish the flames.
At the same time, the Air Force is carrying firefighters and members of the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management to identify critical points in the conflagration.
