The Colombian Air Force continues to have constant approaches with the island community and tourists visiting the San Andrés archipelago. This time a new activity was carried out to distribute brochures in different tourist sites of the island to remember various messages of interest to these citizens.
Through the Caribbean Air Group, officers, noncommissioned officers and soldiers with the support of the Unit of Comprehensive Action, approached the beaches to reaffirm the work of the Institution and remember the importance of comprehensive security in the archipelago.
In these brochures called Safety, wellbeing and Commitment, there is relevant information which consists of the conservation and protection of the environment, activities for the benefit of the community, forced recruitment and citizen security.
This type of activity seeks to provide a better service to civilians and prevent any criminal operation that may occur on the island, mitigate acts of corruption and take care of the environment, thus maintaining the wellbeing of the population and the ecosystem in compliance with the mission of the Colombian Air Force.
