The man to prevent arrest claimed to be a soldier in the National Army, but it was false.
Soldiers of the Group Guias de Casanare, attached to the Sixteenth Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the Casanare Police, arrest in flagrante delicto a 23-year-old man for the crime of extortion, who intended to receive a package that planned to contain the money of a merchant in the region, in exchange for returning to the merchant a computer equipment that had been stolen the day before.
The arrests took place in the city of Yopal, Casanare and in the middle of the procedure, the individual pretended to be a soldier sl18 in compulsory military service in the Group of Mechanized Cavalry No. 01 General Miguel Silva Plazas, Duitama, Boyacá, but when checking the database, it was found that this person was once in the process but he could only reach the third admission test, for failing to comply with the requirements of law to be a soldier of the homeland.
The arrested individual was put into custody of the Specialized Prosecutor 5, in Yopal, Casanare.
