Fifteen countries represented by their defense, military, naval and air attachés from America, Asia and Europe knew the Resources of the Air Combat Command No.2, CACOM2, after a geostrategic visit in Colombia led by the Colombian Air Force.
Fulfilling the vision of being a regional reference, with global scope, Saturday, February 05, the Air Base Capitan Luis Francisco Gomez Niño, opened its doors to this important international group, getting to know the most important results in security and humanitarian fields that have been achieved with the technical, technological and human resources of the institution.
During the tour, the foreign personnel appreciated a show with the different aircraft, as well as the training of our military pilots who, in training exercise, provided an impeccable air presentation, showing the precision and high preparation of the crews.
To close the visit, with the support of the Gobernación del Meta and the Departmental Institute of Culture, the defense, military, naval and air attachés were pleasantly surprised with the different cultural, folkloric and gastronomic samples of the Llanera region.
In this way, the Colombian Air Force continues to strengthen international relations, with the aim of maintaining bilateral cooperation agreements on training and preparation issues.
