Military and police intelligence was decisive in reporting this important result in the northeast of the country.
The operation by the National Army doesn’t stop, with an important result reported in the municipality of Llanos del Norte, municipality of El Carmen, where members of the Military Forces of the Second Division, the Command Against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats, with the support of Colombian Air Force aircraft and the Air Assault Division, in coordination with the National Police, reported the arrest of two men and one woman, who would be part of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, ELN.
In this decisive maneuver, a long range weapon, two handguns, magazines of different calibres and three mortars, used as means of launching to hit the Military Forces and civilians, were seized; in addition, garments for the exclusive use of the military Forces and more than 50 electric detonators were found by troops; at the scene of the events, communication material and elements alluding to this illegal organization were also found by troops.
Among those arrested would be the girlfriend of alias Jhon Mando, who was being tracked by military intelligence obtain her neutralization as well as alias Cuco and alias Pacho, who would be her security men. The individuals were put into custody of the authorities and will be held accountable for different crimes.
