With the Fair of theMaya Woman, the National Army and the institutions worked for the promotion of the enterprises of 70 women of the urban and rural areas of the municipality of Yopal.
In order to strengthen the rights of 70 women, victims of domestic violence and mothers head of household, the Mayor's Office of Yopal and the National Army through the Faith in Colombia team of the Comprehensive Action and Development Battalion No.8 in support of the Eighth Division, held the Fair of theMaya Woman, in the capital city of Casanare.
This fair was born of the need to open spaces for entrepreneurs in the city of Yopal, so that they can exhibit their products and improve profits in their homes.
The Gran Plaza Alcaraván Shopping Center in Yopal received 10 women daily for a week, which led its visitors to find products made from chocolate, costume jewelry, painting, weaving, gastronomy, among others, thus benefiting 70 houses and businesses.
For its part, the Program Fe en Colombia sought to improve the presentation of the accessories of our entrepreneurs, as well as provide advice on customer service, marketing and support in the commercialization of products through strategic alliances.
