In search operations and military control of the area, troops of the National Army found an illegal hiding place in the village La Cooperativa, municipality of Vista Hermosa, Meta, belonging to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Jorge Briceño.
This hideout contained eight 60-millimeter mortar rounds and eight pear-type hand grenades, which would be used to attack against the Military Forces and thus cause fear in the inhabitants.
There were no arrests in the place, but operations continue on the area, with the purpose of finding the members of these criminal structures that intend to disrupt law and order and the tranquility of the inhabitants of the region.
The material was destroyed under controlled conditions and following all protocols for environmental protection.
