Taking into account the regional leadership of the Military Forces of Colombia against the world drug problem, and with the aim of contributing to the countries of the region to strengthen their operational Resources against this problem as well as other transnational threats, delegates of the Government of the united States, the Ministry of National Defence and the Military Forces met in the framework of the Joint operation Plan on Regional Security conducted by Colombia and the united States to Central America and the Caribbean (USCAP), from 19 to 22 April 2022, in Medellín.
The purpose of this meeting was to carried out the plan of instruction and training for the Military Forces and/or Services Equivalent of the countries that are part of the program: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic, in an environment of cooperation, collaborative security, in order to improve Resource interoperability conducted by the countries of the region and the hemisphere.
These international cooperation environments make it possible for the Colombian Air Force to demonstrate knowledge, experience and capacity, to continue building the necessary synergies with the allied countries to identify new opportunities and challenges to face common threats.
