A Mi-17 helicopter left Tolemaida to carry out the transfer of these people, who died during the emergency caused by rains in the municipality of Viotá, Cundinamarca.
The support mission began around 07:30 in the morning when the emblematic Mi-17 helicopter of operation Jaque, went to the municipality of Tocaima, Cundinamarca, where three of the bodies of the indigenous people, who lost their lives when they were buried by an avalanche in the municipality of Liberia Baja, rural area of Viotá, on April 22, along with two other relatives, who have not yet been found.
The coffins were transported by air thanks to this humanitarian support to the municipality of Inzá, Cauca, accompanied by the Personera of Viotá, Diana Margarita Córdoba Pinzón, who formally gave the bodies to the relatives, for the funeral honors in the Yaquivá indigenous reserve.
The deceased are Miguel Antonio Pencue Quiguanas, Stella Pencue Quiguanas and Jacinta Quiguanas Quiguanas.
