In order to know the capabilities of the Colombian Military Forces and the National Police, which operate in the south east of the country, the meeting of Colombia – Peru Regional Commanders was held, in order to create new strategies that led the cooperation of forces for military operations.
The Colombian Air Force, at the Air Combat Command No.6 in the south east of the country, participated at the XI Meeting of Regional Commanders Colombia – Peru, a meeting that aimed to bring together the commanders of the Military Forces and National Police in this area of the country and thus analyze and create new strategies that contribute to mitigate the problems at the border.
With this meeting, the Resources that the Colombian Air Force implements in order to safeguard air sovereignty were shown. In the same way, the Army, the Navy and the National Police presented the faculties with which they work together day by day to safeguard the border with Peru.
In this way, new strategies were established that aim to work together, coordinated and combined and thus mitigate transnational crimes that harm Colombia and Peru. In addition, these meetings seek to strengthen the bonds of partnership and trust, which has the result of optimizing operations against generators of violence who do work on the border.
The Colombian Air Force, through these meetings, analyzes new strategies that aim to preserve and ensure that the airspace is not violated by Organized Armed Groups that commit crimes on the border with Peru.
