Isaid Alberto Angulo, ringleader of the Urban Terrorist Network of the Residual Organized Armed Group (GAO-r) E-Jorge Briceño in the same way known by the alias Barbas or El Mono was arrested in an important coordinated and interinstitutional operation executed by the Colombian Air Force, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office in rural area of the municipalities of Acacias and Vista Hermosa (Meta).
Alias Barbas, responsible for the attack that occurred on February 9, 2022, against the Infantry Battalion No. 21 Batalla Pantano de Vargas in Granada, Meta, together with three other members of this network were put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office, which charged them with aggravated homicide, attempted homicide, terrorism, association to commit aggravated crimes, illegal carrying of weapons and trafficking, manufacture and carrying of weapons for the exclusive use of the Military Forces.
In the same way, together with these members of the FARC dissidents, a minor was put into custody of the competent authorities for the analysis of his situation for the restoration of his rights.
