Operation Epartaco, carried out by the Colombian Air Force and the National Police, arrested alias Pepe, head of the Luis Alfonso Echavarría Substructure of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo.
This operation was carried out in the department of Bolívar, municipality of San Pablo, Pozo Azul village.
The arrested individual had a criminal experience of more than 11 years and is charged with the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes and manufacture, trafficking, carrying or possession of a firearm.
In addition, he is allegedly responsible for leading terrorist operations such as the incineration of six vehicles in the last month of May, in the municipality of San Pablo Bolívar.
