This individual would be known as Kewin, accused of being an explosives expert of the Jhon Linares group under the command of alias Hermes Boyaco and alias Didier. He had criminal influence in the villages of La Catalina, La Macarena, Angoleta, Vista Hermosa and La Tigra, in Puerto Rico, Meta, and in the villages of Nueva Colombia and Puerto Cachicamo, in San José del Guaviare.
The National Army in development of inter-institutional military operations with the Prosecutor's Office, arrested, by court order, an individual, accused of being alias Kewin, 19 years old, who would be the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Nelly Bedoya Vásquez, voting board member, occurred at the end of the electoral activity on May 29, in Vistahermosa, Meta.
Allegedly alias Kewin, would be part of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Jorge Briceño Suárez and would have attacked civilians and Military Forces indiscriminately, from a school, near a polling station when they left the area with electoral material. The woman who was acting as a voting board member was killed there. In the same incident, a National Army officer was wounded.
The alleged murderer was arrested by court order issued by the Attorney General's Office, at the departmental hospital of Granada, Meta. There he would be receiving medical assistance, apparently, as a result of an injurie handling an explosive.
Alias Kewin is accused, in the same way, of participating in the pep ration of two improvised explosive devices in May and June 2021 in the Puerto Cachicamo sector, municipality of San José del Guaviare, where a soldier was wounded and a Navy lieutenant was killed.
In March, this individual would be the one who activated an explosive charge in the village La Catalina, in La Macarena, Meta, fortunately without damage to the good physical condition of the people or the Military Forces.
The arrested man was put into custody of the Attorney General's Office, where he will have to face charges of association to commit aggravated crimes, manufacture, trafficking and carrying of weapons, ammunition or explosives of restricted and exclusive use of the Military Forces.
