In the Multidisciplinary International Conference of Research Applied to Defense and Security MICRADS 2022, which took place at the Naval School of non-commissioned officers in Barranquilla, two students and a faculty of the Master studies of Science degree in Military Aviation of the Graduate School of the Colombian Air Force-EPFAC, participated as speakers with research papers in the following themes: Strategy, Geopolitics and Ocean politics, unmanned Platforms and Ethics in the context of the military operations.
Captain Javier Enrique Montes, Commander of the Planning and Programming Element of the Air Combat Command No.1, participated with the article entitled Development of a proposal for the implementation of NATO standards in the instruction and training programs of the flight squadrons of the Colombian Air Force. Captain Christian Mauricio Tiria, Commander of the Basic Flight Training Squadron EBART of the Air Combat Command No.3, spoke on the article entitled Previous analysis for the implementation of a NATO standard instruction and training plan in the remotely piloted system ScanEagle and teacher Zully Ximena Rojas, researcher of the Master's Degree, spoke on the text entitled New military technologies in the air and space field: trends and changes in International Law.
The event was addressed to the academic staff of the different higher education institutions of Ibero-America, which carry out research in the field of Defense and National Security. An ideal environment to share and discuss experiences, innovations and trends related to the sector. The participation of the Colombian Air Force in these spaces of academic debate, through the research carried out at the Graduate School, strengthens the improvement processes in the domain of Air, Space and Cyberspace Power.
