Units of the Colombian Navy in joint operations with the National Army and coordinated with the National Police, found 80 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride that were being transported in a vehicle on the road leading from the municipality of San José del Guaviare - Guaviare, to Puerto Concordia - Meta.
The operation was carried out by the installation of a checkpoint, where units of the National Army and the National Police, guided by intelligence information provided by the Navy of Colombia, proceeded to conduct the immobilization and inspection of a truck, finding in a hidden compartment 80 rectangular packages, whose content was confirmed to be cocaine hydrochloride, valued at approximately 400 million pesos, about US$ 92,000.
The driver of the vehicle, a 32-year-old man, allegedly a member of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, First Structure, commanded by alias Iván Mordisco, together with the materials was put into custody of the Attorney General's Office for the crime of trafficking, carrying or manufacture of narcotics in accordance with the article 376 of the Colombian Criminal Code.
