Within the operation it was possible the arrest of two individuals who had in their possession a gun and a grenade.
In military operations in coordination with the National Police, soldiers of the Thirty-Brigade of the National Army with the support of troops of the Division of Aviation of Air Assault, found two laboratories for the production of cocaine hydrochloride, that would cost more than 7 billion pesos, in Sardinata, Norte de Santander.
These complexes were composed of 10 wooden structures and would produce more than a ton of cocaine hydrochloride. According to information, the illegal complexes would belong to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Juan Fernando Porras Martínez front, which use these resources to finance terrorist operations against troops in Norte de Santander.
The facts carried out in the villages Las Pailas and El Libano, where troops and police officers arrived and found the first laboratory, four structures with more than half a ton of hydrochloride, and more than two thousand gallons of liquid precursors; while in the second laboratory there were six structures with 560 kilograms of the drug, more than 2,500 gallons of solid precursors and 70 kilos of liquid precursors. Electricity generators, ovens, washing machines, stoves and other materials for the production of drug were found by troops in both structures.
