More than 20 institutions joined this activity.
In a joint, coordinated and inter-institutional work, our soldiers carried out a Development Support Activity in Sardinata - Norte de Santander, where more than 1,000 inhabitants of this area of the department benefited.
On this occasion, the people of urban and rural areas of the municipality accessed the State services and specialized health services, people enjoyed raffles, surprises, presents and different cultural presentations, sharing a pleasant family space accompanied by our soldiers.
Food baskets, school kits, sports kits, among others were provided in this activity, in addition, more than 15 entrepreneurs and businessmen of the region participated, who made known their small and medium-sized enterprises.
“These activities by the National Army, favor and support the community,” were some of the words of Mrs. Inés María Gutiérrez or La Negrita del Sabor as she is known in the region, who thanks to this Activity accessed all the services with her family.
The Development Support Activity had as its epicenter the Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes School of the municipality, where the National Army with the Artillery Battalion No.30 and the Comprehensive Action and Development Battalion No.2 and its Fe en Colombia Program, carried out inter-institutional and Associated coordination, bringing together the Municipal Mayor's Office, the Government, the National Police, Municipal Firefighters, the SENA, the ICA (agrarian and livestock institute), the Colombian Red Cross, the Agrarian Bank of Colombia, Colpensiones, foundations such as Coquecol, Indenorte, Fundaciame, Fundación Maquinas de Sonrisas, Fundación Red de Mujeres del Norte, FEVCOL, Coagronorte, Minas La Aurora, Wattle Petroleum, Maquinas de Sonrisas and the La Francesa Beauty Academy, which provided their support for the realization of this activity.
In this way, our soldiers work in favor of the presidential policy of Human Security, they continue to contribute to the reconstruction of the social fabric in the Catatumbo region.
