Two of those arrested, alias Gordito and alias Gomita, are among the most wanted in the Valle del Cauca and would belong, along with the other two arrested, to a group that commits crimes such as extortion and drug trafficking.
In a coordinated and inter-institutional operation carried out by the National Army, the National Police and the Prosecutor's Office, it was possible the arrest of four people, allegedly committing crimes such as extortion, the manufacture and trafficking of narcotics and illegal carrying of weapons in the municipality of Tuluá, in the department of Valle del Cauca.
Alias Gomita and alias Gordito, would have an extensive criminal history and would be part of the most wanted list in the department, so with this operation not only this group is hit in Tuluá, but it was possible to arrest two of the individuals accused of being the most dangerous, who together with the other detainees, would conduct different illicit activities such as the manufacture and sale of narcotics.
During the operation it was possible to find a grenade, a traumatic pistol, 10 9 mm caliber cartridges, 5 cell phones, 240 marijuana cigarettes, 38 doses of substance that would be cocaine and eight doses of tusi.
The arrested, three men and a woman, were put into custody of the authorities for prosecution.
The National Army will continue to conduct the Operation Tormenta in Valle del Cauca, a strategy that has led to saving lives and decisively hit the different criminal structures in the region.
