During this holiday season, with campaigns to reduce social violence in minors, the Comprehensive Action and Development Battalion N° 1, in support of the Tenth Brigade of the National Army, moved to the settlement Las Palmas in Valledupar.
The activity had the participation of 320 people, including children and adults, with the purpose of integrating families, through talks on topics related to the consumption of psychoactive substances and criminal behaviors, outdoor cinema, jumping, balloon twisting, distribution of toys and snacks.
“I am very grateful from the bottom of my heart for this event that they have brought to this remote place in Valledupar, where we can see all the happy children with all the presents that the Comprehensive Action group has given with a lot of affection,” said Melvi Hurtado, president of the Communal action Board of the 450 Años neighborhood, in Las Palmas settlement.
However, the Comprehensive Action and Development Battalion No. 1, with the comprehensive operations and awareness group, moved to the Brisas de la Popa invasion neighborhood, gathering more than 250 young people, who enjoyed the recreational activities and presents.
The institutional commitment of the National Army is to reach all corners of the country, provide security and generate actions for the benefit and strengthening of the community.
