At the engineering section of the Air Maintenance Command - CAMAN, a group made up of Officers, NCOs and civilians of the aeronautical maintenance specialty, carry out design and manufacturing of aeronautical parts thanks to the resources of the 22 CAMAN workshops, in which the logistical support of the helicopter and fixed wing aircraft of the Colombian Air Force is strengthened, based on the highest quality standards.
CAMAN works with excellence and leadership in the development and promotion of the operational Resources of the aircraft of the Institution most beloved by Colombians, during this 2023 it will continue to promote processes based on the development, modification, manufacture and certification of aeronautical products, test facilities, special tools and other equipment sought to carry out the maintenance of aircraft and the different aeronautical components.
It is noteworthy that, the Air Force through the Air Maintenance Command promotes timely logistics response, with the support of good planning by the Units, through the Production Master Plan (PMP), which has led since its implementation, reduce logistics response times, by having a planning prior to its execution, speeding up the acquisition of spare parts and the scheduling of work in the workshops.
In this way, the CAMAN will continue to contribute significantly during 2023 to the development and technological innovation of the aerospace industry, maintaining the operational readiness so that the different aircraft can fulfill the mission of the Colombian Air Force to fly, train and fight to win.
