In order to provide travelers who were traveling during this Three-day holiday weekend with a safe return to the country's capital city, the Colombian Air Force, through the Military Transport Air Command, conducts overflights at the entrances and exits of Bogotá.
This is how in the Viaje Seguro campaign and taking into account that a large number of vehicles will enter the capital city at the end of this first festive long weekend of the year, the Colombian Air Force sent a Bell 212 helicopter to guard the entire city.
In this way CATAM conducts various reconnaissance operations supporting the troops on the ground of the Army and the National Police. These missions will be done day and night with highly prepared crews and ready for any reaction.
