A Black Hawk helicopter, in Angel configuration, of the Colombian Air Force, carried out the humanitarian evacuation of six people, including two elderly people, trapped by the landslide in the early morning of this Monday in rural area of the municipality of Rosas, Cauca, to the southwest of the country.
Due to the topographic conditions of the area, it was necessary to carry out the evacuation by means of the rescue crane, in the vicinity of the emergency zone. The experience of the rescuers in this type of missions, was essential to take the six citizens to a place out of danger, within the same municipality, where they were expected by the local authorities.
The mission was coordinated by the FAC's National Personnel Recovery Center through the No.7, which reacted of the city of Cali to the mountainous area of Rosas, where the victims were awaited.
