This individual is accused of carrying out several criminal operations and would have a criminal history of more than 16 years. He had a valid arrest warrant for the crime of association to commit aggravated crimes.
In development of operationsoperations, the Military Forces and the Prosecutor's Office, arrested alias Bruno who, apparently, would be the third ringleader of the Residual Organized Armed Group Urías Rondón.
An arrest warrant was in force against this individual, who was captured by troops of the 23rd Brigade of the National Army, the Nariño Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), in a neighborhood of Pasto, where he had arrived a few days ago from Tumaco. He was found there while carrying out criminal coordination related to drug trafficking and operations against the Military Forces and civilians.
As it could be established, alias Bruno, would have his area of criminal interference in the Nariño Pacific region. The authorities are investigating whether it would be related to criminal activities against civilians and social leaders in the region, who have been hit with the criminal behavior of these organizations outlaw.
The residual GAO, Urías Rondón, is part of the so-called Western Coordinating Command, a structure that is accused of various homicides, drug trafficking, extortion, terrorist operations against the Military Forces, among others.
The arrested man was presented before a Judge, who after the hearing put him into prison.
In the Pacific region of Nariño, the Military Forces continue to conduct the operational deployment by land, sea, air and river, with the aim of continuing to work for the safety and tranquility of its inhabitants.
