Thanks to the inter-institutional work, it was in the same way possible to hit criminal groups in charge of micro-trafficking in the municipalities of Dagua and El Cerrito.
Four alleged members of the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Jaime Martínez structure were arrested by National Army troops and the Police at a checkpoint on the Buenaventura-Buga road, Loboguerrero sector.
Two minors belonging to this illegal structure were traveling with these individuals, who were taken into custody by the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing, ICBF, to continue with the procedures of restoring their rights. In the first military operation, ammunition was in the same way found and a van was immobilized.
On this same road, near the municipality of Dagua, Valle del Cauca, the arrest of an individual who had in his possession 50 packages of marijuana was brought forward; this person was traveling as a passenger of a collective passenger transport bus on the Cali-Buenaventura route.
In another operation carried out with the support of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, it was possible to arrest alias La Mona, in the municipality of El Cerrito, for the crime of sale of narcotics; 81 doses of bazuco (50 grams), 146 doses of marijuana (144 grams) and 182,000 pesos in cash were found by troops.
With the materialization of this search warrant, it was possible to eradicate this store in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood of El Cerrito, and the illegal assets of alias la Mona are hit.
Those arrested and the items found were left put into custody of the authorities of the region.
