From Medellín to Ibagué, alias Guadaña or Comandante Orlando was taken on a Colombian Air Force aircraft, after being arrested by the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, as the alleged ingleader of the Organized Gang, GDO, called Frontera del Norte, which commits crimes in the department of Tolima, specifically in the municipalities of Mariquita, Honda, Fresno and Armero Guayabal.
The transfer of the detainee to Ibague, where he will testify in Court No.5, represents a significant increase in the perception of security of the inhabitants of Tolima, which had been hit by the operations of this Organized Crime Group and its illegal activities, because they were allegedly committing multiple homicides in the north of Tolima in order to gain control over this territory.
Alias Guadaña was included in the most wanted list since 2021, for several crimes, including: Association to commit crimes for the purpose of homicide, manufacture, trafficking and carrying of firearms for the exclusive use of the Military Forces, among others. It should be noted that the three men who were with him at the time of his arrest were in the same way transferred to appear before the courts.
