The Colombian Air Force, facing the law and order situation that the regions of Bajo Cauca and Northeast Antioquia are going through, has arranged all its air resources to provide support to the inhabitants hit by the mining strike.
In this way and thanks to the coordinated work conducted by the Air Combat Command No. 5, the Governorate of Antioquia and El DAGRAN, it was possible to transport from Rionegro to the municipality of El Bagre more than 1.3 tons of humanitarian aid, which will be distributed to the inhabitants who are currently facing a shortage crisis of food and basic needs in the region.
These 150 food kits that were taken in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, are part of the products donated by different foundations and companies of the department, and that will be distributed mainly to the most vulnerable families.
