Two patients of the Island of Providencia, who needed air transportation to and from San Andrés, were benefited with aeromedical transfers in a Caravan C208-B ambulance aircraft of the Caribbean Air Group.
The first transfer helped an adult over the age of 85, who, in previous days, had been transported to the Island of San Andrés due to complications in his health due to his multiple illnesses, and who required his return to Providencia after completing hospital management at the departmental health center.
The second patient was a 34-year-old woman, who was referred as a priority due to the need for an evaluation and management by a specialist at the departmental hospital to safeguard her health and well-being.
The crew of the aircraft sent all its resources to transfer the patients without any complications or mishaps in flight, leading the woman to reach the hospital and the man to be returned to his home on the Island of Providencia in the best way.
