The Caribbean Air Group, in its mission to safeguard the life and well-being of the island's people, received the call to conduct the aeromedical transfer of a mother from the Island of Providencia and be taken to San Andrés.
The transfer was carried out in a Caravan C208-B, an aircraft available in the Archipelago for aeromedical missions. The crew and medical staff worked together so that the woman arrived on the Island in optimal conditions and was transferred to the Clarence Lynd Newball Memorial departmental Hospital to be assisted and given management by specialty.
The 29-year-old woman was evaluated and monitored by the military medical team, who has experience in this type of missions, from her pick-up in Providencia to her arrival in San Andrés, to the ambulance service of the Island, with her vital signs stable.
