The Colombian Navy carried out a development support activity in which 523 people of the village of Las Contras, in a rural area of the municipality of Buenaventura - Valle del Cauca, benefited.
During the activity, legal advisory services, physiotherapy, gynecology, general medicine, internal medicine, nutrition, dentistry, pediatrics, family planning, psychology, respiratory therapy, vaccination, insertion of subdermal implants and medication distribution were provided.
In addition, the attendees enjoyed recreational activities, psychosocial talks, and distribution of humanitarian aid consisting of toys, school kits, biosafety kits, clothing, food baskets and Bienestarina (food supplement).
On this occasion, the participation of the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute - ICBF, the Children and Adolescents Police, the Luar Foundation, the Misión País Foundation, the Colombia Solidaria Foundation, the Tangara Forest Foundation, the Conacce Chaplains Foundation, the Ree-vida Foundation, the Alianza Solidaria Foundation, the Mission Support Command - Coami Pacífico and the Buenaventura Municipal Health Secretariat were in the same way in the activity.
This year, the Pacific Naval Force through its units have benefited more than 10 thousand people, with activities and activities aimed at contributing and strengthening the social wellbeing of communities.
