The Second Chiefs of Staff Meeting conducted by the Ecuadorian Air Force and the Colombian Air Force is being held in Quito, with the purpose of addressing issues of strategic interest and establishing bilateral cooperation activities that contribute to strengthening cooperation ties, identifying new opportunities and strengthening Resources in operational, logistics, human talent, operational security, among others.
The delegation of Ecuador headed by Brigadier General Antonio Puga Dávila, Chief of the General Staff of the Ecuadorian Air Force, received his counterpart Major General Carlos Fernando Silva, Second Commander and Chief of Staff of the FAC, who in the midst of a dialogue reiterated the importance and willingness to continue working in a coordinated manner, in an atmosphere of trust and reciprocity. They in the same way, highlighted that by continuing to strengthen operational resources, the contribution to defense and security in the region and the hemisphere increases.
In this way, in the middle of some conversation tables, exchange of experiences and knowledge, both Officers expressed the will continue promoting the bonds of brotherhood and activities to counteract common threats.
